WSO 2005 will be using the "11 Points" scoring method. This scoring system ranks schools in each event. For each event, the first placed school will receive 11 points. Second place will receive 10, third 9, fourth 8, and so on to ninth place receiving 3 points. Below ninth place, the judge of that event will choose for each school whether they should receive 3, 1, or zero points for the event. In the end, the school with the most amount of points wins the competition.
