Lunch pre-order links available for both Friday and Saturday. Please take advantage of this wonderful option for lunch both days.
Aside from lunch pre-orders, the following are additional options for food on Friday and Saturday:

9:00 AM: Team check-in begins.
10:00 AM - 3:45 PM: Stout Expo (an engaging and immersive experience showcasing Wisconsin's Polytechnic University through interactive presentations, hands-on activities, and guided tours of the labs, studios, and campus).

12:30 PM - 2:30 PM: Academic and Career Fair (an opportunity for participants to explore UW-Stout's diverse programs, gain insights into college life from students, and network with industry professionals)
WSO Trial events 12:00-3:30pm: Duct Tape Challenge B/C and Protein Modeling C.
Duct Tape Challenge B/C: SFC 50
Rules will be provided on-site. Students will compete in groups of up to two. Students will need to accomplish an engineering task using duct tape and provided supplies. Students should not bring anything and will not be allowed to use anything they bring. All materials will be provided on site and specific rules for the task will be provided on site. There is no limit on the number of entrants per team but individual students can only compete once.

4:00 PM: Opening Ceremony (Parade of Schools lineup starts at 3:45 PM.)
4:45 PM - 6:00 PM: Team Fusion Fest (a fun community-building event involving a team swap meet and collaborative games)

The merchandise booth will be setup on tournament day in JHSW atrium throughout the competition day on Saturday April 5th.

Materials Science - students will drop the puck onto a ¼ inch thick steel plate on a concrete floor.
Competitive Tournament Notes for Division B and C
Tournament Awards: Schools will be divided into large/small schools. Individual medals will be awarded for the top 4 places in each event in both large and small school groups. Exhibition (Junior Varsity) and Audit Teams will be provided duplicate place medals and pins. The top 4 Teams will be awarded Team trophies and coaches plaques. Overall team scores in each division (division B - middle school and division C - high school) will be used to determine the bid(s) to nationals.
Exhibition (Junior Varsity) Team: These Teams can be thought of as an "Open" Team. The individuals on these Teams are eligible for awards, but the Team score is not relevant. These Teams can have any combination and numbers of students at any grade level at a Team’s school. Junior Varsity Teams will sign-up for "sign-up" events after the Varsity Team.
Multiple Teams from Schools Scheduling Note: Swapping of time blocks is not allowed. All Teams from a school must compete in the same time-slot for events, with the exception of the following events:

Students may participate on only one team.
Selection of Events: Each Team must balance their chosen 23 events from the 5 Science Olympiad categories. Each Team must choose a minimum of 3 events from each category to reach a total of 23 events.
Auditing of Events: Teams may choose to Audit events in which they are not competing. These events are eligible for duplicate medals. Students beyond the standard Team of 15 may participate in Audit events.
